Sarah + Sumit celebrated their nuptials outdoors in Niagara's wine country at The Good Earth Food and Wine Co. in Lincoln. If you're a regular reader of the blog, you already know how much we love The Good Earth ... a little slice of heaven on earth!
Sumit's background is Indian and the blending of his and Sarah's cultures is such a beautiful love story. It was an intimate affair that was very big on gorgeous, rich and saturated colour!
Feast your eyes on this colour palette ... it's our 'Passion' with an Indian spin ... plus some gold and copper thrown in for kicks! A perfect late summer palette that's also reflective of Sumit's family heritage.
We wish blessings on Sarah + Sumit as they begin their marriage journey!

The matching bridesmaid's bouquet ... also very yummy!
Our wrought iron Shepherd's Hooks are so versatile ... they look right at home here lining the aisle at Sarah + Summit's wedding ceremony in one of the gardens at The Good Earth.
The reception table centerpieces consisted of a trio of mixed height satellite arrangements in the aforementioned lush and rich hues of red, merlot and burgundy.
Lots of delicious details to love here also ... how cute are these little Jasmine tea and strainer wedding favours!
Kendra + Miles at Riverbend Inn & Vineyard

This weekend we were so excited to design the flowers for Kendra + Miles' destination wedding at Riverbend Inn & Vineyard in Niagara on the Lake! Kendra and Miles have Canadian roots, but both now call London, UK home.
We haven't had a chance to work at the Riverbend since last wedding season, but it is definitely one of our fave wedding venues in Niagara on the Lake. The views across the vineyards are simply spectacular ... as is the gorgeous Inn itself! We were also loving the crisp and clean pale blue, deep eggplant and lavender colour palette ... it was simply delicious and suited the environs to absolute perfection!
There's just something so special about an outdoor wedding in Niagara's wine country ... you can't put words to it ... you just have to experience it for yourself.
Our congratulations to Kendra + Miles ... we wish you many blessings in your married life!
The bride’s bouquet was hand-tied (as all our bouquets are!) and featured some of the most beautiful dahlias we've experienced in a long, long time!
Kendra + Miles' outdoor wedding ceremony took place on the back lawn at The Rivebend Inn, just in front of their white-washed gazebo. The views to the north, across the vineyards, are simply spectacular!!
The tented outdoor wedding reception consisted of multiple 16ft long tablescapes. We created our table top design using clusters of dahlias and potted lavender plants in cute white ceramic vessels (affectionately known as 'eggs' around the studio) interspersed with plenty of candlelight in some gorgeous new hand-blown glass containers.
So many lovely little details to share ... it's all in the details!!!

Janice + Mike at The Grand Victorian in Niagara on the Lake

Janice + Mike's intimate outdoor Niagara wedding took place at the stately Grand Victorian mansion B&B along the gorgeous winding curves of the Niagara River Parkway.
The Grand Vic, as we like to call her, is a spectacular Victorian mansion featuring Queen Anne Revival influences and is set on an acre and a half of gardens, surrounded by the award winning vineyards of Reif Estate Winery.
The outdoor wedding ceremony took place on the property's gardens just a stone's throw from the mansion, where Janice + Mike later hosted their guests to a cozy dinner reception on the wrap-around verandah.
The seclusion and intimacy of this exclusive property feels half a world away from the hustle of the 'traditional' wedding ... it really transforms your perspective on what a great wedding celebration should be!!

Janice's colour palette was plum with a touch of butter yellow, burgundy and ivory.
Her bouquet in purple and yellow was absolutely gorgeous ... the giant Lady Slipper orchids were beyond amazing!!!
The bridesmaid's bouquets in yellow looked equally stunning against their dresses ...
Janice + Mike's intimate wedding ceremony in the garden featured classic gold and white chiavari chairs, twin oversized altar florals set on Reif Estate wine barrels and our custom-made wrought iron Shepherd's Hooks gracing the aisle.
We absolutely adored the idea of designing a tablescape on the wrap-around verandah ... what a brilliant idea!! No need for a tent ... you have the completely jaw-dropping charm of Victorian mansion as your protection from the elements. Genius!!!
Stephanie + Danny's Vineyard Wedding

Another first for us ... in ten years of designing flowers for weddings, we've never done one on a Monday ... until today!!
Stephanie + Danny's Jewish wedding ceremony was supposed to take place under the custom-made birch log chuppah we created for them ... but just 10 minutes before the ceremony, the skies opened up and the rain fell. Ever the optimists, Stephanie + Danny simply moved the ceremony indoors to the Vineyard Retreat at Cave Springs.
Suffice it to say, we were a little sad for our bride and groom ... that they weren't able to be wed in the vineyard under the chuppah ... but love knows no boundaries and come rain or come shine, Stephanie + Danny's love certainly weathered this little hurdle. :)

Our Chuppah looked absolutely amazing out among the graperows in the vineyards ... lovin' it!!
Andrea + Jeff: Wed in Niagara on the Lake Wine Country

What a weekend for love!!! The weather was near perfect, the venues and vendors we worked with were amazing and, if you don't mind us saying, the flowers were fantastic as well!! ;)
Calgarians Andrea + Jeff were married in the Rose Garden at Pillar and Post and later that evening hosted a celebratory dinner reception in the Grand Georgian Ballroom at Queen's Landing in Niagara on the Lake ... two fine choices indeed!
Andrea's colour palette was a version of our Shade palette augmented with accents of grey/pewter and featuring hits of chocolate and deep purply burgundy ... cool, refreshing, upscale gardeny look with attitude!
Thanks to Andrea + Jeff for indulging our passion for their wedding flowers ... best wishes!!!
Andrea's bouquet featured some cascading Amaranthus and we hand-tied in the lace detailing on the stem. The bouquet also featured raspberry, mint, lavender and fern fronds from our organic cutting gardens here at the studio!
The wedding ceremony in the Rose Garden at Pillar and Post featured our Grapevine Arbour, Shepherd's Hooks lining the aisle (with rose petals!) and twin oversized floral arrangements flanking the altar area.
Lately we're loving how Parasols are showing up at the wedding ceremony ... form and function!
The wedding party looked totally amazing ... tried our best to get some good photos, but had to dance around both the official photographer and the cinematographers!!
And finally our modelicious bride Andrea and her father ... about to escort her down the aisle!!
In the Grand Georgian Ballroom, we created a birch and willow canopy under which the head table was placed ... all lit up with soft glowing lantern and flood lights, it was ammmmmazing ... wish we coulda dined under there!
The guest tables featured our full floral centerpieces with Simply Beautiful Décor providing the crystal globe lanterns, chargers, linens and chiavari chairs.
In the Atrium (which was the cocktail area) under the giant chandelier we created this big conversation piece from cork, large slabs of walnut tree, willow and a plethora of flowers and candlelight!
These absolutely delicious cupcakes and wedding cake were designed by the talented team at Vineyard Sweets ... as beautiful to taste as they are to look at!
