Heather + Joseph: Niagara Wedding on the Family Farm

Heather and Joseph were married at Southridge Church in St. Catharines and hosted an outdoor reception on their family fruit farm on the shores of Lake Ontario in Port Dalhouse.

Heather and Joseph have a really cool engagement story that involves Joseph carving Heather's beautiful engagement ring out of a piece of walnut given to him by his grandfather. The couple's shared passion for social justice issues lead them to decide that a diamond engagement ring just didn't suit them as a couple. An amazing story ... you can read more of it here.

The color palette for the day was 'Glow' ... shades of yellow with a touch of fresh green and peachy orange!

Their reception was held about 30 feet from the shore of Lake Ontario, right out amongst the peach trees on Joseph's family fruit farm! We were able to incorporate peaches grown on their property (in season now!) in the table centerpieces.
