Best Wedding Bouquets of 2009 featuring 'Bliss'

So now that the 2009 wedding season is officially behind us and the end of December is almost here, it's time to reflect on the year that was.

If you're a regular reader, you'll recall that we did a 'Best Of' series on the blog last year ... it went so well that we're going to do it again to recap 2009! This year we'll expand to include centerpieces, reception, church and ceremony décor as well. Below is just part one of what will be a few installments to come over the winter!

I've been compiling an album called 'Best Wedding Bouquets of 2009 and I'm excited to share the pics with you! In putting this collection together, I very quickly realized that we'd done a lot of 'Bliss' colour themed weddings this year ... and so perhaps this is the best place to start!

I hope you enjoy the recap as much as I enjoy the memories it brings me!

'Bliss' is a colour palette that we first introduced in 2009. Bliss features smooth and creamy shades of melon, peach, blush and vanilla.




This is the coordinating bridesmaid's bouquet to the bride's bouquet above ...



We loved incorporating the intricate details and romantic heirloom jewelry on the stem of Sabina's bouquet (above) ...


We were in love with Sarah's bridal bouquet ... this is one of our absolute favourites of 2009. I can't help but post a few pics of this one, from different angles ... yes, those are blackberries (rubus) in there!!!




We debuted our 'Bliss' colour palette at the annual Vintage Hotels Bridal Show back in February ... this is where it all started.




We love including cute little details ... like these funky vintage buttons ... on the stems of our bridal bouquets!

Wedding Bells 'Enchanted Evening' Feature - Spring/Summer 2010

What seems like an eternity ago, we trekked up to Toronto in the middle of a terrible snowstorm to contribute some of our work to a photo shoot for an upcoming issue of Weddingbells magazine. We're excited to share that it's finally here!!! Well, almost.

Thanks to Roseanne at Weddingbells we received a sneak peak at the yet to be released Spring/Summer 2010 issue ... and we're passing it on to you!

The next issue hits the stands on December 14th. You can find our feature entitled 'Enchanted Evening' on pages 110 and 111.
